Ginette was born and raised in Switzerland, where she received a Diploma in Nursing in 1979. She moved to Australia in 1981, where she worked as a registered nurse in emergency care and rehabilitation. She met her husband in Australia and moved with him to Minneapolis, Minnesota, in 1984.

Her husband accepted a position at the University of Utah Medical Center and they moved to Salt Lake City on the last day of 1988.

Ginette completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1992 at the University of Utah and also received a Master of Public Health from the University of Utah in 1999. In 2005 Ginette completed her APRN and Master of Science in Nursing, specializing in Family Practice.

During her nursing career, Ginette has worked in a variety of settings, including orthopedics and wound care, family practice, rehabilitation, burn care, surgical, medical, and neuro ICU, and emergency care. She also worked in OB/GYN, labor and delivery.

Her nurse practitioner experience has included internal medicine and infectious disease for 7 years, and for the past 5 years, Ginette worked in urology.

Over the many years as a registered nurse and the past 14 years as a nurse practitioner, Ginette gained experience in multiple areas and specialties.

In her free time, Ginette enjoys traveling with her husband, long-distance running, hiking, horseback riding, garden work, photography, and spending time with her husband, their two children, and multiple family pets.
