ABOUT DR. ERIC C. CHENWORTH, DO
Allergist Eric Chenworth, DO, of Wasatch Allergy and Asthma in Salt Lake City and Riverton, Utah, is a highly experienced physician who specializes in diagnosing and treating allergies and asthma.
Dr. Chenworth attended the prestigious Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, for his internship and residency in internal medicine. After completing his residency, Dr. Chenworth had the opportunity to pursue a fellowship in allergy and immunology at the Mayo Clinic. He completed his fellowship in 2007 and moved into private practice before joining the faculty of National Jewish Health in Denver as an Assistant Professor of Medicine.
National Jewish Health is a world-leading center of renown for respiratory conditions, including allergy, asthma, and immunology. During his time there, Dr. Chenworth treated patients who had complicated respiratory diseases, and he provided training to other physicians. Dr. Chenworth returned to his native Utah in 2010, and he established Wasatch Allergy and Asthma to provide compassionate care to patients who have asthma, allergies, and related conditions. He’s now well-known in Salt Lake City and Riverton as one of the leading allergy and asthma specialists.
When he’s not helping patients with their allergies, Dr. Chenworth enjoys spending his time with his family and their animals.
ABOUT GINETTE SPEED, FNP-BC, MS, MPH
Ginette was born and raised in Switzerland, where she received a Diploma in Nursing in 1979. She moved to Australia in 1981, where she worked as a registered nurse in emergency care and rehabilitation. She met her husband in Australia and moved with him to Minneapolis, Minnesota, in 1984.
Her husband accepted a position at the University of Utah Medical Center and they moved to Salt Lake City the last day of 1988.
Ginette completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1992 at the University of Utah, and also received a Master of Public Health from the University of Utah in 1999. In 2005 Ginette completed her APRN and Master of Science in Nursing, specializing in Family Practice.
During her nursing career, Ginette has worked in a variety of settings, including orthopedics and wound care, family practice, rehabilitation, burn care, surgical, medical, and neuro ICU, and emergency care. She also worked in OB/GYN, labor and delivery.
Her nurse practitioner experience has included internal medicine and infectious disease for 7 years, and for the past 5 years Ginette worked in urology.
Over the many years as a registered nurse and the past 14 years as a nurse practitioner, Ginette gained experience in multiple areas and specialties.
In her free time, Ginette enjoys traveling with her husband, long-distance running, hiking, horseback riding, garden work, photography, and spending time with her husband, their two children, and multiple family pets.
ABOUT JULIE FRISCHKNECHT, NP-C
Julie is a board certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She graduated with a Doctor of Nursing Degree from the University of Utah in 2012 with Sigma Theta Tau Honors. Her Nurse Practitioner experience ranges from working in a dedicated Respiratory Intensive Care Unit and pulmonary consult service to treating acutely injured patients on a trauma service. Previous to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, she attended Weber State University where she obtained a Bachelor’s of Science degree in nursing, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2007. As a registered nurse, she gained experience in treating respiratory compromised patients in the intensive care setting.
When Julie is not working she enjoys running, biking, hiking, and spending time with her husband and three children.
ABOUT STACY A PARRY, NP-C
Stacy was born in El Paso, Texas and spent her childhood in both Texas and New Mexico. After graduating high school, she attended the University of Utah and graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science as Registered Nurse.
After college, she moved to Ohio and worked as an RN at Akron Children’s Hospital while her husband was completing his degree. Following his completion of his Masters degree, they decided to return to Utah. For 13 years, Stacy worked as a Registered Nurse at Primary Children’s Hospital in both general and intensive care units. The experience at Primary Children’s provided significant opportunities and encouragement for professional growth.
In 2017, Stacy graduated from Westminster College with a Masters of Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Her Nurse Practitioner experience has included managing acute and chronic illnesses of individuals of all ages in family practice.
Some of her interests include knitting, travel, music and spending time with her husband and two daughters. Stacy is excited to come on board with Wasatch Allergy and Asthma and looks forward to meeting you!
